Facebook changes news feed algorithm again

Facebook has once again changed the news feed algorithm. Earlier, the priority posts were those based on user preferences. But due to the fact that in such a way important news from family and friends may be missed, the algorithm is changed again, giving the priority to friends’ and family members’ posts.

Top priority is given to photos and videos; information content comes next, following by entertaining posts.

The new algorithm is based on the analyses of user’s behavior in the social network. Liked post of those indicated as relatives will be shown first.

There should be no reducing of the audience reach for companies. Users share their posts with friends and leave comments, so traffic reduction should not happen.
